Transitions and restarts….

Been an eventful six months with the highlights being a mission trip to Haiti and the transition out of the corporate world.
The trip to Haiti was a moving experience that I’ll not soon forget. Even though we worked very hard all week and we accomplished a lot (especially when viewed in the light of the post earthquake conditions in Haiti), we were only a drop in the bucket. It’s too bad that the situation in Haiti is no longer news worthy. Well, actually it still is news worthy but mainstream media outlets are just no longer choosing to devote airtime to covering it.
In other news, I have moved from a job in the corporate world to a position on staff at church. I believe that this transition probably deserves its own post. I’ll write that one soon.
